My new album, my senior thesis at The New School, Noises, is available everywhere May 8, 2026.
What a long time coming this has been. The idea for Noises first came to me in a burst of inspiration, suddenly last summer. In one single glimpse, I saw this completed project for what it was, and I’m so excited for you to hear what I’ve made to bookend my college career.
This album revolves around themes of nostalgia, the Midwest, and the Methodist worship tradition as it permeates secular music. Noises is an interpretation of this theory, this research I’ve done in practice. I’ve worked tirelessly to carefully construct a world that felt both true to myself, but one that someone could see themselves in, too.
I couldn’t have made this project without the guidance of the faculty at The New School, who have both inspired and informed my work. The vision for this project wouldn’t have been brought to life without my best friend, Lila Felsheim. We shot this cover in October of 2025 at my childhood home in Marengo, OH.
